What do I do if I don’t want to track each day before the 1:00am EST cutoff? Can I track multiple days at once?

If you would like to track multiple days at once you’ll need to make ONE manual entry at the end of the day before 1:00am EST. For example, if you walked 4,000 steps on Monday but did not track them, then on Tuesday you would make ONE manual entry equal to 4,000 steps + Tuesday’s Total Steps.

Who do I contact if my Fitbit doesn’t work?

When contacting Fitbit, you’ll need to provide the program name (Compass Minerals A Step Ahead: Alien Invasion Challenge) as well as your Compass Minerals email address. Please CC support@fix-fit.com on any emails to Fitbit.

Does the UtiliFIT platform keep track of healthy activity that was logged before the A Step Ahead: Alien Invasion Challenge began?

Yes, the UtiliFIT platform captures all healthy activity that is logged within the system. The UtiliFIT Leaderboard is where players can track their long term progress outside of a Challenge period. Leaderboard positions are determined by the total number of Knucks (i.e. points) accumulated for an individual or team.

Follow these steps to access the UtiliFIT Leaderboard:
1. Log into your account on your Desktop
2. Click on the “Games” Panel
3. Click on the podium icon in the upper right corner of the center panel.
4. The Leaderboard can be viewed by “All Users” or “Team” for “All Users” or “My Division” and for the period of “Today”, “This Week”, “Last Week” or “All Time.”

How do I access the A Step Ahead: Alien Invasion Leaderboard? How do I know which team is winning during the 6 week Challenge?

1. Log into your account on your Desktop
2. Click on the “Alien Invasion” Panel in the lower right corner of the Dashboard
3. Click through until you see the side scroll screen with all teams and a background
4. Click on the Medal Icon or Star at the top of the screen (next to the Footprints Icon)
5. Click on “View Leaderboards”
6. Stats can be viewed for “All” participants, all “Teams” and within “My Team” for “Today”, “This Chapter” (this week), or for the entire “Challenge.”

How do I track my progress and my teammates’ progress in the A Step Ahead: Alien Invasion Challenge?

1. Log into your account on your Desktop
2. Click on the “Alien Invasion” Panel in the lower right corner of the Dashboard
3. Click through until you see the side scroll screen with all teams and a background
4. Click on the Medal Icon or Star at the top of the screen (next to the Footprints Icon)
5. You’ve reached the Scorecard and your team stats are visible on screen
6. Click on the arrow to the left of “Today” to view previous days

How do I attach my device?

1. Log into your account at http://www.compassminerals.utilifit.com/
2. Click on your name in the upper right corner of the Dashboard
3. Click on “User Settings”
4. Click on “Devices”
5. Click on “Add New Device”
6. Name your device (e.g., Ben’s Fitbit)
7. Select the type of device from the dropdown menu
8. Click “Create” at the bottom of the screen
9. Enter your device log in information in the Log In window.

How do I manually enter steps?

1. Log onto http://www.compassminerals.utilifit.com/
2. Click on the Steps Panel
3. Click on the person/pencil icon to the far right of today’s date
4. Manually enter your count
5. Click “Save”

How do I track a Diet activity? (How do I boost my character’s health?)

1. Log onto http://www.compassminerals.utilifit.com/
2. Click on the Tracker Panel
3. Click on the “+” below the current day
4. Click on “Diet” on the left side of the screen
5. Click the arrow to the far right of one of the selections that you have completed
6. Click the check mark to the far right of the selection
7. Once you’ve finished selection all of your tracking items, click the “Confirm” button at the bottom of the screen

How do I change my password?

1. Log onto http://www.compassminerals.utilifit.com/
2. Click on your name in the upper right corner.
3. Click on “User Settings”
4. Click on “Login Info”
5. Enter your current password, new password, then confirm new password.
6. Click “Save”

How do I change my team?

Team’s can only be changed during inactive challenge periods. Under special circumstances contact support@fix-fit.com

What if I attached my device and I still don’t see steps in the Steps panel?

1. Confirm that you have a WiFi connection and that your steps are visible in your Device App (i.e. Fitbit, Misfit, Withings etc.)
2. While keeping your Device App open, log onto your account via a desktop computer at http://www.compassminerals.utilifit.com/
3. Click on your name in the upper right corner of the Dashboard
4. Click on “User Settings”
5. Click on “Devices”
6. Click on your named device (i.e. Ben’s Fitbit)
7. Click on “Click here to reattach” your device
8. Enter your device log in information in the Log In window.

How do I change my profile picture?

1. Log into your account on your Desktop
2. Click on your name in the upper right corner of the Dashboard
3. Click on “User Settings”
4. Click on “Profile”
5. Click on “Select files”
6. Choose an image to upload
7. Click “Upload files”
8. Frame image with cursor
9. Click “Save”

My speed (daily steps) as an Alien Drone is greater than my actual step count, why is that?

When playing as an Alien Drone, you can receive a speed bonus by tracking healthy diet and/or lifestyle choices.

Now that the Alien Invasion challenge has ended, how do I turn off my email and/or text reminders?

You can turn off your reminders by performing the following steps:
1. Log into your account on your Desktop computer
2. Click on your name in the upper right corner of the Dashboard
3. Click on “User Settings”
4. Click on “Reminders”
5. Click on “OFF” for Game of the Day
6. Click on “OFF” for Tracker
7. Click on “OFF” for Track of the Day
8. Click on “OFF” for Custom
